Resources Management Officer (Professional)

About the role

The Resources Management Officer will supervise and manage the budgetary, financial, human resources and administrative functions of the IOM Country Office in Guinea. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and working closely with regional and headquarters teams, the officer ensures effective resource allocation and compliance with IOM policies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, monitoring and reporting of the Country Office budget.
• Coordinate financial operations with the Department of Financial and Administrative Management (HQ) and the Global Shared Services Centre (Manila).
• Manage human resources processes, including recruitment, staff administration and payroll.
• Develop and implement administrative control procedures and ensure compliance with IOM standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff on financial and HR matters.
• Facilitate coordination with international institutions and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management or a related field with at least five years of relevant experience, or a university degree with seven years of experience.
• Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CIMA or ACCA is an advantage.
• Proven experience in financial and human resources management at the international level.
• Field experience coordinating with international bodies and implementing administrative controls.
