Sales Administration Intern

About the role

The Sales Administration Intern will support BIA Group’s sales of consumables, tools, spare parts and components across its African operations. Working closely with the head office and reporting to the Team Leader, the intern will help drive sales growth and ensure smooth administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and propose appropriate solutions in collaboration with Project Managers or PSSR.
• Establish sales forecasts with customers and relay them to the purchasing department.
• Provide order status reporting to customers and analyse market shares by product type.
• Prepare and follow up on parts and service offers, execute contracts and orders for parts and services.
• Give delivery instructions to the logistics team and deliver business‑analysis reports required by customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (e.g., foreign trade) or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent in French and English; a third language is a plus.
• At least one year of experience in a similar sales or distribution role, preferably in export or spare‑parts departments.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.
