Batch Operator

About the role

The Batch Operator will work on‑site in Ratoma, overseeing the operation of batching equipment and production lines. The role ensures accurate mixing, dosing and processing while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate batching machines, perform routine checks and monitor control panels.
• Record production data, coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues and minimise downtime.
• Follow standard operating procedures, health, safety and environmental regulations, and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to meet production targets and maintain product quality.

Required profile

• Strong technical aptitude for operating industrial equipment and performing basic troubleshooting.
• Attention to detail in measuring, mixing and documenting batch data.
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental standards in a manufacturing setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial operations is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, stand for long periods and perform manual tasks.
