About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead growth and market expansion for our Agro Inputs & Agricultural Machinery division across West African markets. You will oversee sales operations, strengthen distributor networks, and build strong relationships with customers, partners, and institutional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive sales of agrochemicals, fertilizers, seeds, agricultural machinery and equipment.
  • Develop and manage distributor and retailer networks across assigned territories.
  • Lead sales planning, order management, collections and inventory control activities.
  • Manage government tenders and institutional sales opportunities.
  • Plan product demonstrations, farmer engagement programmes and market development initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
  • Lead and support sales teams to achieve business objectives.

Required profile

  • Professional degree in Agriculture or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in the agriculture/agro‑inputs industry.
  • Strong understanding of agrochemicals, fertilizers, seeds and agricultural machinery.
  • Experience in distributor management and channel development.
  • Prior experience in African markets is preferred.
  • Excellent team management, negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Fluent communication skills in English and French (mandatory).

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
