Senior Human Resources Associate (G6)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Human Resources Associate (G6) to support resource management functions across its country office and sub‑offices in Guinea. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and the Resources Management Officer, the incumbent will play a key role in ensuring effective HR operations in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate resource management functions for the country office, sub‑offices and related units.
• Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth HR processes.
• Collaborate with headquarters and administrative centres to align local HR activities with global standards.
• Maintain accurate HR records, data, and reports using designated systems.

Required profile

• High School diploma with six years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field with four years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with international humanitarian, non‑governmental or governmental organizations in a multicultural setting is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, discretion, and a client‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience with the Wave HR system (preferred).
• Excellent data‑management and analytical abilities.
