Administrative Associate – Finance (G5)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking an Administrative Associate – Finance (G5) for its sub‑office in Mamou, Guinea. The incumbent will support the financial and administrative management of the sub‑office, ensuring compliance with IOM policies and promoting transparent, responsible use of resources.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance of all financial and administrative operations within the sub‑office.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support budgeting, reporting, and audit processes.
• Coordinate with external partners and internal units to facilitate smooth financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, vouchers, and related documentation.
• Support the implementation of integrated management systems and other financial tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of documented professional experience in finance or administration, preferably within an international organization.
• Strong understanding of IOM’s mandate, objectives, and operational environment.
• Demonstrated personal commitment, flexibility, and ability to work in a multicultural setting.

Required skills

• Excellent mastery of computer tools, especially accounting software.
• Experience with integrated management systems is an asset.
