Electrician – Field Services

About the role

BIA Group is seeking an experienced Electrician to provide effective technical interventions on field equipment used in mining and construction projects across Guinea. The role involves ensuring equipment reliability and customer satisfaction under BIA’s maintenance contracts and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Erect, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot and repair field electrical equipment according to shop manuals and OEM standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment availability and utilisation.
• Follow planning instructions, complete required reporting and represent BIA’s values on site.
• Maintain safe working conditions, adhere to HSE policies and report any health, safety or environmental issues.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and good knowledge of English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in mining or construction.
• Technical school diploma in electrical engineering or related field.
