Mechanician Technician

About the role

Join Aggreko in Guinea as a Mechanician Technician, supporting the maintenance and operation of generators at the Kouroussa Gold Mine site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ‘A’ service maintenance and major maintenance on Aggreko generators according to work instructions.
• Conduct systematic fault finding, repairs, and failure reporting using paper and electronic systems.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for service crews and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with installation, demobilisation, and operation of generator controllers while adhering to Aggreko QHSE standards.

Required profile

• Qualified artisan in line with local labour laws.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights up to 2.5 m, autonomously when needed.
• Capability to coach and mentor colleagues.

Required skills

• Use of specialist mechanical tools calibrated to Aggreko standards.
• Understanding of Maintenance Management System (MMS) schedules and Standard Site Operation (SSO) processes.
