Project Associate – Public Health (G5)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a Project Associate to support public health activities in Guinea. Working under the Chief of Mission and the National Public Health Coordinator, the role contributes to the implementation of health programmes and coordination with partners.

Key responsibilities

• Implement public health activities in line with IOM’s objectives.
• Liaise with Guinean health authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and other stakeholders.
• Collect, enter and manage data using MS Office and relevant information systems.
• Support the preparation of reports and documentation for health projects.
• Assist in coordination with country‑office units and the National Public Health Coordinator.

Required profile

• School diploma with at least four years of relevant experience in public health, community development or related fields, OR a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, Social or Development Sciences with two years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with governmental health authorities and international organisations.
• Good knowledge of the Guinean health system and experience interacting with institutional counterparts.
• Experience in multicultural environments and familiarity with vulnerable or mobile populations is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
