Senior Project Associate – Migration Protection (MPRR)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Project Associate to support its Migrant Protection, Return and Reintegration (MPRR) programme in Guinea. Based in Conakry, the incumbent will act as the operational link between programme management and field teams, ensuring coordinated implementation and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field coordination focal point for MPRR activities, facilitating communication between programme managers, case workers and government social workers.
• Support the implementation of post‑arrival and reintegration workflows, including procedures introduced after PARNA training.
• Coordinate and monitor counselling sessions, PARNA profiling activities and case progression in the MiMOSA system.
• Assist the MPRR Reintegration Officer and National Reintegration Officer in data entry, performance monitoring and backlog reduction.
• Provide on‑site support at the Jean Paul II Reception Centre, IOM warehouse, sub‑offices and satellite offices.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in migration, humanitarian assistance or social protection programmes.
• Strong field coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a high‑caseload, complex operational environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case‑management and data‑entry tools (e.g., MiMOSA).
• Familiarity with PARNA training methodologies and profiling processes.
