Senior Human Resources Associate (G6)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Human Resources Associate to support its mission in Guinea. Reporting to the National Human Resource Officer and working under the Chief of Mission and Resources Management Officer, the incumbent will manage resource‑management functions across the country office and its sub‑offices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating staffing needs and coordinate recruitment processes, including drafting vacancy notices, screening applications, and participating in interview panels.
• Manage pre‑employment activities such as preparing Entry on Duty documentation, coordinating medical examinations, enrolling staff in insurance plans, and delivering induction sessions.
• Maintain the organizational HR system with a focus on data consistency, accuracy, and timely updates.
• Provide guidance to hiring managers on terms of reference, interview protocols, and job offers.
• Administer the recruitment mailbox and ensure proper documentation throughout the hiring cycle.

Required profile

• Relevant higher education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration within an international or multilateral environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
