About the role
Wabtec is seeking a Field Service Engineering Assistant to support its rail and industrial equipment operations. The role involves working in a shop environment, providing technical assistance, and ensuring customer‑focused problem resolution.
Key responsibilities
- Assist field service engineering activities for rail and related equipment.
- Work various shifts and adapt to changing shop schedules.
- Analyze technical issues and develop solutions with a strong customer focus.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain equipment performance.
Required profile
- Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the rail industry or a similar sector.
- Ability to work in a shop environment and on flexible shift patterns.
- Guinean nationality.
- Fluency in French and English; Mandarin/Chinese is a plus.
