About the role

Wabtec is seeking a Field Service Engineering Assistant to support its rail and industrial equipment operations. The role involves working in a shop environment, providing technical assistance, and ensuring customer‑focused problem resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist field service engineering activities for rail and related equipment.
• Work various shifts and adapt to changing shop schedules.
• Analyze technical issues and develop solutions with a strong customer focus.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain equipment performance.

Required profile

• Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the rail industry or a similar sector.
• Ability to work in a shop environment and on flexible shift patterns.
• Guinean nationality.
• Fluency in French and English; Mandarin/Chinese is a plus.
