About the role

Rio Tinto SimFer is offering an academic internship in Ethics & Compliance within its Simandou Iron Ore Project in Guinea. The role supports the team in promoting ethical standards, regulatory compliance, and effective governance across the project.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in research and analysis of ethics, compliance, governance and risk management topics.
• Support the preparation of reports, policy documents and internal communications.
• Contribute to the monitoring of compliance activities and the identification of improvement opportunities.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Required profile

• Guinean nationality.
• Enrolled in the 1st or 2nd year of a recognised university.
• Pursuing a degree in Law, Governance, Audit, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Political Science or a related field.
• Possession of a university‑issued internship agreement.
• Strong analytical, research and writing abilities.
• Integrity, rigor and a high sense of confidentiality.
