Asset Management Manager

About the role

The Asset Management Manager is responsible for establishing, integrating and governing the Asset Management operating system that protects safe and stable ramp‑up of Simfer assets and delivers sustainable value. Working closely with Operations, Reliability Engineering, Projects and Supply Chain, the role translates business and production requirements into risk‑based asset strategies, lifecycle plans and executable maintenance programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Set and govern the Asset Management strategy, standards, decision rights and risk‑based plans for Simfer assets.
• Lead integrated planning, shutdown and materials readiness, aligning production, maintenance, engineering and supply‑chain requirements.
• Own the integrity and adoption of Asset Management systems and data, ensuring accurate asset hierarchies, maintenance plans and failure reporting.
• Partner with Operations, Reliability Engineering, Projects and Finance to provide performance visibility and decision support.

Required profile

• Significant leadership experience in asset management, maintenance or reliability within a complex mining or heavy‑industrial environment.
• Proven track record of establishing or improving an asset‑management operating model across multiple functions.
• Experience translating commissioning or project hand‑over issues into controlled operational plans.
• Demonstrated ability to build local capability and create sustainable succession pathways.
