About the role
The Fleet Manager will lead the technical service team responsible for maintaining and servicing equipment used in public works, mining and transport projects across Guinea. The role ensures that assets are kept to the highest standards, service contracts are fulfilled and customer expectations are met.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prioritize and assign technical service activities to optimise resource use and meet service‑level agreements.
- Develop, evaluate and update service procedures, monitor costs and ensure timely, reliable delivery.
- Lead HSE compliance: conduct risk analyses, safety briefings, enforce PPE use and oversee training.
- Estimate costs, time and resources for installations, upgrades and maintenance, prepare work orders and track progress.
- Represent BIA’s values on site and maintain strong relationships with customers and OEMs.
Required profile
- Fluent in French and good knowledge of English.
- Minimum five years’ experience in mining or construction equipment maintenance.
- At least five years in a supervisory role managing technicians.
- Technical diploma from a recognised school.
