Material Specialist – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Material Specialist will manage material flow for the locomotive repair line at our subcontractor facility in Guinea. The position is 24/7 with two 12‑hour shifts and includes accommodation and meals on site.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the technical execution team to fulfill material requests and communicate any issues.
• Plan, direct and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing materials.
• Monitor performance of 3rd‑party logistics providers and conduct daily morning meetings to set priorities.
• Perform regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Operate forklift and other material‑handling equipment safely.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.
• Guinean national fluent in French and English (Mandarin a plus).
• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
